Faces of Greenport
This project highlights the people who have shaped and continue to shape the community of Greenport. It typically focuses on telling the stories of local residents, their contributions, and includes portraits of individuals who have played key roles in Greenport's history, such as local leaders, business owners, artisans, fishermen, and other community members.

Children's Room
The room gives visitors a sense of how children lived during this period—what they learned, how they entertained themselves, and the way they dressed. This room features an antique school desk, relics of clothing, and games like wooden toys, jacks, and simple board games such as checkers, popular during that time.
Whaling Room
In the whaling room visitors can explore historical maps, tools, and equipment used by local whalers, as well as learn about the lives of those who worked on the ships. The room also showcases the impact of whaling on the local economy and the community, providing insight into how this industry helped shape Greenport’s history and culture.

Kitchen
The Kitchen at the Stirling Historical Society of Greenport offers a step back in time, showcasing antique kitchenware and items from the past that reflect the daily life of Greenport’s residents. Among the collection, visitors will find old local pharmacy bottles, highlighting the town’s historical connection to medicine and health. The kitchen also features vintage cookware, utensils, and household items, giving insight into the ways people once prepared meals and managed their homes.

Maritime Room
Visitors will find displays of ship models, nautical charts, and artifacts related to shipbuilding and navigation. The room also features historical photographs and stories that explore the lives of those who lived and worked on the water, as well as Greenport’s growth as a port town.

Bedroom
This room features an authentic old rope bed, giving visitors a glimpse into how people slept in the past, with the distinctive ropes supporting the mattress. Nearby, an antique spinning wheel showcases the craft of spinning wool into thread, a common household activity in earlier centuries. The room also displays a collection of antique clothing, providing insight into the fashion of the era. Together, these items tell a story of daily life, craftsmanship, and the history of home life in Greenport.
